Peace Muhagachi is the new generalist here at Cora Dale House. Peace’s pronouns are she/her and they/them. Peace grew up in Dodoma, Tanzania, until she was 15. Then her family moved to the United States, to Elkhart County. Over the years she and her family moved back and forth between the two. On the evening of May 27, colleagues gathered for our first employment dinner of the year. This meal is a way to honor those who are employed, have a history of employment, or are interested in employment. In celebrating and appreciating the members, we hope to boost morale and create a positive working experience. In celebration, the staff also attend to the members’ needs during the dinner. On Friday, May 23, the Clubhouse traveled to Warsaw for a free summer concert. The band playing was called HippoSonics, an electrifying pop and classic rock band that did covers of various songs from the 80s and 90s.
